Hi guys a bit of advice needed.
A client of mine has now decided that she wants to try and go grey, she is naturally very grey now anyway. Atm the moment she usually has full head high/lowlights to blend but she wants full grey..

I will attach photos of my clients hair and her desired look, my question is what are good grey colours? I usually use joico, matrix or kenra/guy tang
My next question is would you full head highlights for the look or do the pinwheel technique?

Many thanks
Em

The photo is one of Jack Martins colours. If you have Instagram he does alot of this type of work and also adds his formulas and methods. It's very informative.

In my opinion she's not grey enough to get the look she wants.
She s a base 6, possibly verging on a 5. So when her natural lifts she'll be warm.
You could use Wella Magma /89 or /89+ But the tone does still fade.

If you still want to give it ago I'd trial a section underneath about a foil width up and across and see what works. Vary the toners and see.

Thank you both
