Has anybody been to Rome? Need suggestions, please

We just got back from Italy, I've never been shouted at more anywhere in the world! Lol they have a lot of rules

Please tell me where this is, I want to move there lol! Seriously though I live in Rome, lots of shouting, we do this instead of talking and seems lots of rules but few actually being followed! <3

I've booked to go to Rome for 4 nights in August for my husbands 30th
I booked via the Thomas Cook website in January (in time for the sale!)
I choose the Hotel Ivanhoe, which is really close to the Colosseum and other attractions (my hubby is mad about roman history)
It cost me about £500 which includes flights.
I'll let you know what it's like!
