How to 'do nails'...

I just read the free PDF file that they send you, makes the industry seem sooo easy haha.

Is the industry really so booming in other countries? Cos here in NZ I'm having to work as a Bakers assistant as I can't get work as a nail tech (unless I open my own business which I cant afford to do, and have more business studies to do first)

Oh and is it common to call Enhancements 'Extensions'? I think that makes them sound rather tacky, but maybe thats because I'm not used to it here in lil NZ, but I see it quite a bit on the net.

Hi nail in the uk is a big thing.. I personally call them enhancements..
I also for got to say the link you have provided is rubbish if you dont mind me commenting on it. Do not give them your details or email address as you will get a few emails each day trying to sell you something.. hth xx

OMG that article it a load of crap!!

I can't beleive she promotes herself as a Salon Owner, Trainer & success & then goes on to say things like "you do not have to go to college" "you do not have to spend a fortune on training" "you do not have to use expensive products"!!!

She is apparently a salon owner & if I was one of her clients & read she thinks you can learn from home for free in 30 days & dont need to use expensive products etc etc I dont think id be going back there!!

i live fairly local to swanage and was there the other weekend and i admit the shop was busy and i heard doing a great biz... thou its in a fairly small seaside resort... i feel like you do that why would anyone bother with college if it was that easy.. im doing that myself as we speak and before doing nail enhancements you have to have the basic manicure pedicurist
health and safety biz stuff too. so im not sure about that...
Yes she does say if you have the money go to hands on college like she did.. but as for the rest of what she claims who knows...
