I was very excited when I found out about this new product and was just about to order it...then I decided to see what people were saying about it...I found a blog and no one had anything good to say...but there were only a few different people that posted...just wondering if anyone had anything good to say about it.

Well I broke down a bought the light and the starter kit...tried it on my neice today...I soaked her acrylics off, performed a manicure and applied the Forever Natural...sooo we will see over the next week or so if i performs as well as they claim...keeping my fingers crossed...I really hope if works cause I could really expand my income potential.

was reading the link that the other person posted...they are just arguing about whether or not its gel...in my opinion gel or not gel...who cares?...its better than any gel, soak off or non soak off, I have ever worked with as far as ease of use...it gets a 10 from me for workability...but I still have to see how it holds up on my neice to make my final decision about it...its definately not meant for as much strength as an acrylic or a regular gel...meant for natural nail only...it will give it more strength than a naked natural nail just not as much as a full enhancement would...perfect for added strength to damaged nails from acryllic or gel.

d...perfect for added strength to damaged nails from acryllic or gel.

Nails is not damaged from either l&p or gel, the technician can damage and so can incorrect removal. Sorry to correct you, but on a professional site both new techs and clients can read, we should give out correct info and advice.

I hope the product will work well for you ;)

I get what you are saying but the damage I am speaking of is done during prep with the file...(I know its not the actual product that does the damage)..only a light buff is required using a 400 grit buffer with Forever Natural and only uses a ph bond...not a primer.

You are absolutely right ... but shall we be realistic and say that in our business we do see allot of damaged nails (for whatever reason and yes those reasons are not caused by the product but bad/lazy techs or bad clients).

Still, these new light weight coloured gels or something completely new and innovative like the hybrid CND Shellac system do offer a sort of 'in between' strength that is ideal for damaged nails, so that they can grow out whilst looking good at the same time.

I think it is wonderful to be able to offer a choice to clients which they have never had before, because they have been 'chained' to enhancements or nothing.

Natural nail clients are 'frightened' of gels in pots and the inevitable 'filing' of the natural nail prior to application . Using a colour from a bottle is comforting for clients UNTIL they see that file or block used for prep.

Beauty editors love Shellac because there is none of that PREP to the natural nail with a file and no primer and the press has been phenomenally in favour of Shellac because of it, which is great PR for salons who use it.

:o Totally get what you both are saying, and agree with both. I have just spend a couple of hours on Danish websites where so called professional claimed that one or the other damaged the nails, was toxic etc. so might just have read something into it that wasn't there.

And yes I have ben amazed at what Shellac could do to weak damaged nails, and there is a market for something between. I like that those who doesn't really need enhancements, but needs a bit more that solar oil, and manicures can do, now have an option...

well have tried FPO out on 3 people plus myself...not very happy...its very easy to apply and work with but not holding up very well any anybody..it feels very natural to wear...doesnt feel like there anything on them at all...with my neice the polish was peeling of the product...with my accountant the product itself was peeling off in one whole piece???...very disappointed...my regular spa manicure lasts 10 days...forever natural manicure no more than 4 days and it peeling...oh well had to try it...now i hope that the industry source keeps their promise to give me a refund if i wasnt satisfied....now im gonna try gelish structure and gelish polish...hopefully that works out better.
