HELP...how to make fine hair look thicker!!

hey everyone im a hairdresser i know how to make everyone elses hair look nice etc but i have no idea what to do with my own hair lol,i'm planning on having my hair cut tomorrow i was thinking having shorter layers might make it look thicker...any idea please im so fed up of it lookiing so flat

Hi I have a client with the thinnest hair ever. I cut it into a bob with feathered sides + coloured it choc brown. She popped in toi see me this week, didn't recognise her, hair looks so thick + lustrous everyone loves it. Also back comb the crown slightly for lift. Good luck.
