Right, I have a problem. I have several salons and clients can use their course minutes across branches. I'm wondering how other geeks prevent clients overusing beds by visiting multiple branches in one day as I want to encurage clients to tan safely? Help much appreciated xx

This is a major problem that this sector suffers from and it's this very irresponsible behavior that causes both bad press and a health risk to those who abuse the system.

It is virtually impossible to be 100% certain this can be prevented ..however if each customer has a client record card you can in fact therefore go some way to policing.

Of course a customer could use a different name when signing in to each salon and in so doing abuse the system again.

It really does make you wonder what is in their minds eye when they flaunt the dangers of over exposure to UVA simply for vanity sake.

You could perhaps contact the TSA and see if they have any suggestions...maybe they might help with safety literature you can pass on to those you suspect are abusing sunbed use???.

It's good to hear that there are salons such as you that are acting responsibly...well done

The other problem is that they will come to you and have their maximum exposure and then go to another salon down the road and do the same there,
i used to have client who would come to me and then call at another 3 salons before going home,
i found this out by talking with the other salon owners,
i had to drop this client from my salon as i was not willing to be partly responsible for the probable outcome of the over exposure,
its a tough one and not much we can do really as they will just go else where,
