Help My Niece has trapped her finger

My Niece has trapped her finger at the eponychium the nail looks like it is going to come away from the nail bed I have cleaned it with alcohol wipes as it was bleeding and it looks like it has separated at the eponychium I have put a plaster over it loosely so it gets air to it just hoping now the damage isn't as bad as I am thinking, I will ring her tomorrow to check how she is god love her she is 11 year old and lost her mother last year.

you may be best posting this in the nail section hun. I would say you have done the right thing cleaning it properly tho and just keep an eye on it. its so painful when u damage the eponychium
