Hi, im needing help with spray tanning.

my OH bought us a spray tanning machine from suntanna, a professional one. neither of us have had training, but have read up and watched videos on tanning. After i have sprayed him, he says it dont look like it has really touched him, but as its going on you can see its going on. i dont stand too close. but not too far away. we have used suntanna and sienna x.we leave it on over night then he gets showered nxt morning. even then he thinks he doesnt look brown. what am i doin wrong.:?::?:
im pregnant and when he does me it doesnt look too bad, but that could be because im pregnant?? also what balm do we need to use?

u realy need to be trained, if you got sued u wouldnt have a leg..... sorry but true lotsa tan companys do training. all over the country u are then free to pick choose and change solutions till u find one u like. xx im covered by salon gold insurance, very reasonable and under £50 a year.. nouvatan whos solution i use ive seen on a post are doing training across the country now..

really does not matter who you are doing it on, you can't beat hands on training, videos, faq#s can only give you so much.
Also the training does not cost that much i think all are in the £70 range honest get trained and you will be able to give your partner and friends a great tan.

i just use boots baby lotion hands elbows knees feet and ankles think anything would do only a bit tho x

I would advise you to wear a mask when your spraying your other half cherub and if he is spraying you on a regular basis(weekly)then I would be tempted to use the nose filters available.

If you have a look on youtube there are loads of videos of spray tanning techniques.I think if you're only doing each other then there is no real need to rush out and get training but if you start tanning friends and family it would be of huge benefit to you to get training.

What percentage tanning solution are you using?
Are you making sure that your other half is free from moisturiser other than dry areas(knees,elbows,hands and feet)?
Are you ensuring he is fully covered in tan?
You can use a moisturiser or a barrier cream that your spray tan provider has.
