HELP! Paraffin Spray troubles

Is the Paraffing Spay supposed to take long time taking off and to be very messy??
I just purchased a silkline spay system.
Here's how I do it:
- put liner under hand or foot
-apply lotion (sorry)
-spray paraffin over area 2X
-wrap liner around. leave 10 min.
-this is where it's messy and take long time removing
-very crumbly, so i crumble as much paraffin off in plastic liner, then I remove excess with wet towel, then dry towel if there is still some excess.
- Takes Too Much time

am I doing something wrong or is it supposed to be this way?

i always smooth on some moisturiser before the parafin. It leaves the skin even more silky and is much easier to get off once set x

sorry forgot to add that.. I do apply lotion

maybe too thin layers of wax...it comes off easier if the wax is more layers
