Help Please.... Yellow/brassy highlights

Hi All Hair Geeks...

I am a Beauty & Nail geek but have had my own personal hair EEK! :o

I have just had my dark brown hair highlighted (foils) with very small streaks to help disguise some dreaded gey! Usually this gives me a great result but I think they look a bit 'yellow'. My stylist used a toner but they still look a bit odd.... Can anyone suggest a product can use? I heard a purple based S&C help tone down but which ones are best?

paul mitchell do a really nice blue shampoo. its fairly strong tho so you prob wont need to use it everyday. id maybe suggest going back to the salon tho and telling them your not happy as i find that blue shampoo is good to maintain a nice tone rather than actually add tone to yellow hair.
i no that is there job its just my opinion from experience. if your not happy with colour then go and ask your stylist to correct it hun xx
