Hi Folks

Im just new to this so.....hello :o). I was looking for a little advice, i am qualified in back-scratcher extreme dip system , i attended the days course and received my certificate but never went back for follow up.... im i still fully qualified as i have my certificate?
Im looking into doing nails mobile and really im looking for any tips any of yous guys might have. Im also wondering about insurance.... where's best to call......how much roughly does it cost?
I have been doing nails on friends and family for a while now but now im looking to start charging. My blending and filing ( shape wise ) are needing a little work but hopefully the more i practise the better i will become ( again any tips on filing would be great ) what is a good price to begin with?

Thank you in advance for your help,

Elaine xx

I really think you would benefit from some more training... either go back to backscrachers or look into trying a new system.. honestly it will pay for itself!

Thanks for your reply. I am looking into doing an other course. My nails that i am doing at the moment are nice and are lasting well i just need to feel more confident with myself. Do you know think i am fully qualified as i do have my cert and did attened the course?

Thanks e xx

I'm not too sure what you can learn in just a day... I did a C.I.B.T.A.C diploma and the course was for six months and I still didn't feel confident so did another course, this time with Youngs and did more taining after that with Bio sculpture and I'm still thinking of getting more.

I'm not sure about insurance and if you would be classed as fully qualified but if you ring around the insurance companies will tell you that.

It does help to practice like mad.. when I first trained I didn't charge anyone till I felt I was doing a professional job so don't be too hard on yourself.. it will come in time, but you would really benefit from a bit of one on one training.
