I've watched the Fingernailfixers youtube vid showing you can place a self adhesive strip of fibreglass on the nail then cover with shellac/brisa lite base coat & continue your normal application, apart from 2 topcoats at the end. Does anyone do this when clients have a tear in there nail? Do you just wrap & soak pad in nourishing remover as normal to remove? Thanks all :)

Yes I've done this -

So prep nail base coat and cure 10 secs
Put on fibre glass strip and then apply base coat over the strip so that it soaks in but again keep it thin and pop back in for 10 secs

Now go through your normal steps

And yes just soak off in usual way.
I'm not a nail expert like some on here but that's how I do it and it's worked for me!

Ah thanks very much Lielash. I just was unsure before doing it about how hard the removal would be. Perfect will be doing that for a client then x
