Hiya all..omg I don't think I have started a thread for AGES !!! lol

I haven't worn enhancements for about 5 or 6 weeks now,
And decided yesterday to go for a natural look,
Using Anthony Buckleys mix
The free edge colour I LOVE, but when combined with the nail bed colour it looks awful,
I find that the colour I am using for the nail bed (again following Ant's mix) looks fantastic when I am using white or a colour/glitter for the free edge,
But not with the natural mix,

Does anyone have any idea's what I need to do ?
I'll explain a bit more...
against the natural free edge, the nail bed colour looks wayyyyy to pink, almost a salmon colour,
also the smile line looks really obvious...

I have never custom blended with such a natural look free edge before...
so can't get my head around what I need to do..
But I do need to extend my free edge, as my nails are soo stumpy lol...
This is a pic of the free edge colour I am using

Thankyou xxxxxxxxx

I am bumping this up because I also could do with help in this.

Maybe you could tone the colour down a bit??
I've done this but it was a case of trial and error tbh.
What have you got in powders??
Have you got any HD?
Ant will prob know the right powder to tone it down without thinking about it (unlike me lol) but it can be done.
If you need a powder and I've got it I'll send it to you to try mate x

:green: Thankyou hunny

I have the pink and white HD, but am having major problems using it..
But thats another story lol...Have spoke to Amber about it.
I used ants mix that I saw on here somewhere hun,
The colour looked GORGEOUS with some other nails I did (gold ones in my album )

But yet with a natural free edge just looked so wrong,
And I have also spent so long trying to perfect the crisp smile,
But now with this it looked "too" crisp..
If you could mabey ask Ant for me, or point him to this thread I would love you forever (well...I will anyway, but you know what I mean :) )

I do have pictures I can't find the lead to upload them (although sheryl has seen then on webcam so can vouch how bad they looked)
I'll have another look later and see if i can get them on ...

I gave up in the end, and mixed a new NSI custom colour, and now have that and HOT PINK tips !!!
Love them lol...

I shall NOT give up with this though, as I really really want to be able to get it right.....

Can anyone tell me what the recipe is for the white edge?
And I tried to click on the pics, but the link kept taking me to the home page of Salongeek

thanks!

thanks!

the custom free edge is soft white with a TINY amount of citrine added to give a creamy, more natural colour

found it at last
