X:cry:

I have never heard of this - are you using the correct lamp ?

I've never heard about it either...

Could it be that you apply the gel too thick and because of that it "moves" on the nailplate before curing it?

C.

How many nails are you doing at a time?, it sounds to me as tho, you are doing too many without locking the form you've created for 10 secs before the final cure, giving the gel chance to move whilst you are doing the other nails. Trying doing 2 nails at a time and locking before you cure for the full 2 mins, that way you should achieve perfect form and minimise filing. hth

I would agree with this...sounds like the white is pooling at the tip.
If you are using the Brisa lamp then it has a 10 second freeze cure timer on it.

i do have a cnd lamp and yes it is the white that pools at the tip and i do do a 10 second cure i do 2 nails at a time is that right and maybe i am puttting the whte on too thick as once it filed off so i'm a cautious now.

How did you get on with it when you did the course?
Did you have the same problems then or have they started recently?

on my course they didn't teach us how to do the smile in gel or l&p yes crap i no (so i am teaching my self) just a straight overlay i have tried it again and have put less gel on and bingo it worked and my smile was quite good too if i say so myself! so thanks for all your help.

Creative would teach you smile lines, assuming you trained elsewhere I'm going to be nosy and ask you where you're getting your products from because you can't buy them through the correct channels in the UK without doing the enhancement training with them first.

Re your whites 'swelling', are you using white sculpting gel or POW?
