Hiya just a quick one how far away is your gun to your client when you spray tan - i've been watching some people spray tan on you tube and they seem to do it quite close - i was taught that you put the client at the back of the tent and then you have you spray gun at the opening - is that correct. I have the t200 machine if that helps.

i was taught 6 inches away or a hand's length and 12 inches for the feet and hands

Hi,
I was taught 8 - 10 inches.
Lotsa luv x x  x x

One hands distance away, around 6 inch is ideal for spray tanning,
if you are working at the distance you have been taught you will be wasting lots of solution as it is going onto the floor,
if you find that the client is too wet with solution at 6 inch`s you need to turn your gun down so less is coming through and move your hand quicker when spraying, hth

6/8 inches with the T200..variable on the different machines out there.

The further away means more over spray and to close will cause pooling...of course the speed at which you move across the skins surface will also influence the outcome and can have a relevance to how you position the gun.

Experiment with the general 6" rule of thumb and adapt dependent on the factors as mentioned above

HTH

Thanks guys i will try it closer on my sister in law x
