Hello

I do Hollywood Toes with gel, and have been taught to do just a thin lock in layer of gel, cleanse, paint the white tip and then apply the glaze and go (or Finish Clear). But what about if I want to use something like glitter or crushed shells just for the tips? Is it ok to do the lock in layer, apply the shells, and then do another layer so that it seals over the shells and I can file into shape, and then use the glaze and go? As if I just do it the way I've been taught, I can't smooth it all down.

Thanks

after you have applied your glitter or shells or whatever, you can build using your sculpture gel. cure, then shape (if needed) then your finishing gel - use as many layers as you feel you need to, but i would suggest that you keep your glitter very thin, to lessen the sculpture gel layer (hope that made sense)m so that you dont end up with a toenail as thick as a brick

hth
