I trained with Kim at the end of last year and have today just done my first Hollywood on a willing Guinea-pig! Overall it went well, however, I'm wondering how much wax you should expect to use for a Hollywood. I used Outback Organics True Blue (although will be using their Gold product going forward as I prefer it). I think I've probably used about 250g (half a bag) but not sure if this is too much?

I just want to know if I need to be aiming to use less overall with time and practice.

Basically how long would you say a 500g bag or non strip wax would last you from 'Hollywood' point of view.

Thanks

Hiya, I haven't been doing them long but I'd say 6 or 7 from a 500g bag.

The Gold goes on a lot thinner so goes further (woohoo). To start with don't worry about how much wax you use, just concentrate on your technique. As you master this you will notice you use less wax.

People always ask me this and to be honest I never know the answer as I just top up as I go.

I'll see if I can find a guideline answer for you.
