Hi all, I'm a Gelish girl and I'm looking to do some glitter for Spring. What Gelish Base colour would I use with some added glitter?

A silver base colour?

Does it have to be Gelish? Can I use an ordinary polish with sparkle and Gelish top coat?

A matching base colour normally compliments best in achieving a deep sparkly look unless you want a contrasting glitter. To get this look I would use a silver polish & silver glitter if you want to use normal varnish gently pat the glitter into the tacky varnish & topcoat or if you are wanting to use your gelish, use the complete system to create proper rockstar/twinkle toes HTH x

You could achieve this with simple sheer, little princess or sweet dream as a base. Then just press loose glitter into the tacky layer.
Repeat then top it off. Doing 2 layers of Gelish & glitter will give you full coverage. I do it all the time. x
