 I really want to get going with nails but I am finding it really hard to get a job as most people want a nail tech with clients and experiance, can anyone help? Thanks

It is the old catch 22 isn't it. Salons want to employ a nail tech with experience but you can't get experience unless they employ you.

If it were I ... I would offer my services to the salon for a month for nothing ... work my butt off and get them to agree to employ me after the month trial period is over and I have proved myself and gained some experience. I'd bite your hand off. good Luck

I think that's really good advice from Geeg, if you do this and you manage to build up a rapport with a couple of clients I think you are on to a dead cert. On the flipside though, dont be disheartened if you get taken on to do a free month and they dont take you on after that, some people will take the free labour and run so to speak, but at least you will have a months salon experience behind you.

I also agree with Geeg advice. That way it's a win/win situation...

I agree!! Sounds like a great idea!

Thanks for the advice I will give it a go, I will give you an update soon
