How to store tantrick solution

Hi everyone

I had a bit of mare with one of my bottles of Tantrick. I went to unscrew the lid and the actual lid part broke away from the screw part (if that makes sense). I now can't seal the bottle properly and air is getting to the solution is this okay? I thought I would get a water bottle and rinse it out, let it dry inside and then put the solution in there. Do you think this will be okay?

Also, how long does a solution last once the bottle is open?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can transfer it into another bottle but make sure it is clean and dry before putting your solution into it,
the best place to store your bottles is in a cool dark cupboard that does not have have big differing temps.

Once open the shelf life is 12 months but it will last longer if stored in the cool and dark.

Hi Jackie I had exactly the same problem. Did a tan party on a Thursday evening and the top of the lid split when screwing it back onto the bottle.

Got home and covered the lid securely with cling film. I got in touch with Colin and he kindly despatched me a new 500ml bottle as I only had that amount left.

My solution survived four days without a secure lid. Your idea of using an old water bottles a good one though.

Thanks, it sounds similar to what happened to mine! Mine broke on Thursday so hopefully it might just be okay!! I don't won't to waste it as the bottle is 3/4 full.

I have had the same problem with 2 of my bottles, I stretched a rubber glove over the top of the bottle and that was ok I soon used the liquid up though so was not too much of a problem.
