hyper-keratinisation of skin follicles

Hi Geeks

Can any of you skin experts tell me anything about hyper keratinisation of the skin follicles? What it is and how to cure it?

Have recently developed red bumps on the back of my arms at the top and a little on my calves too. Thought it happened after I got waxed but it hasnt gone away and has been a few months now. I was in Portugal last week and a beauty therapist there told me it was 'hyper keritinisation of the skin follicles' but she couldnt tell me how to get rid of it.

I did a google and it is also sometimes called chicken skin, I think.

Any help and info appreciated.

There was a thread on this alittle while ago, its called keratosis pilaris. there was lots of good advice on there, goodluck.Hths
