Could anyone tell me the difference between a brow tint and wax as to the HD brows?

I think I have been overcharged as I had what I thought was HD brows and I was never run through by the 'therapist' what was used on my brows only the shape she was going for, also she said she didn't do threading as there was no point when your waxing. I also saw her using a normal lash brow tint, I thought HD brows had a special tint used?
No brow beater was used or any brow pencil/palette. Or mineral powders . Like I have seen in the video of HD brows.

I have had my lashes done also , extensions. I asked for a natural look no long glamourous curl type. She finished and when I got home I had one poking in my eye and a clump of glue with 3 attached together and I measured the extensions up with mine and they were c curls, the most curled which I asked not to have. My lashes are quite fine these were thick.

I had messaged her last night I had to take them out as they started irritating my eyes where the glue was clumped and pulling my lashes, (I do lash fx btw I didn't pull them out) my eyes were going red so had to do something as she was at a party after doing my treatments.
I said I wanted a refund at least for the lashes, I took a picture of them so it showed how they were clumped together.
She messaged back she was sorry but that it really isn't on and will discuss further with me.

What's your opinion on this?
I really don't want to argue about it. I just want my money back from a not so good job of lashes and possibly overcharged for a brow tint and wax .

Thankyou

Being honest , no i would not give you a refund on the lashes. Being a professional yourself, you know we never offer a refund. You should have given her the chance to put them right. You just went straight home and removed them. She should not be offering HD brows if she is not trained in them, HD brows do not use a special tint. Being a therapist yourself you know what hd brows are, you should have spoke up at the time. If she is advertising HD brows and is not trained by HD, then just report her.

Used HD salon finder to find out if she is a genuine HD therapist, their legal dept is very good and if she is false advertising they will get onto her x

Defiantly contact HD brows! I am HD brow trained & they do use specialised tint! Everything is HD brow branded so you should of felt confident she was using the brand! Did she do a consultation card with you? She should of explained step by step what she was doing.... I do as think this shows it's much more than a tint & wax.

I completely disagree with you and I think your being unfair, just because she's a therapist doesn't mean she should know the ins and outs of every brand in the industry, she is asking here the difference so she can identify if it was infact a HD treatment.
Of course she removed them, they were irritating her eyes and making them sore because they were poorly applied and she had the tools to do so!
Who says all professionals never offer a refund?
I don't see why she should have given her a chance to do them right, if she ballsed them up in the first place and let her go happy with clumps of glue knowing "as a professional" that they would make her eyes sore I wouldn't let her back on them with a barge pole!

I didn't know that all therapists had to know all treatments..... Rolls eyes
Being a spa therapist for 5 years I have not come into contact of any waxing / tinting myself, that is why I am asking . Not to get bitchy comments.

Yes I had looked up roughly about HD but you wouldn't want to second question the therapist as you think they should know what there doing. Although when you come back home you see things differently... I had irritation round my eyes I had the removal so I took them off, like I said I knew she was off to a special occasion after and wouldn't be back at the work place.
And where I work and have done previously we offer refunds. Obviously depending on the situation.
But Thankyou for the advice
