Hi i have a client booked in next week for a manicure and a pedicure but suffers from phelax diease where there allergic from any citrus oils and fruits, wheat, barely oats, plus any dairy products...i have got a pedicure kit but has essential oils in,so am unsure what do i do? what products do you use>..

Thats a bit of a tricky one hun, i think the best thing you could do would be to contact your product supplier and ask for some advice on the contents of your products, itss not worth guessing and possibly causing your client problems.
You could try using plain paraffin wax man ped with just almond oil if shes not allergic to that? HTH xx

I think you are referring to 'coeliac' disease - which is basically a wheat intollerance. May also be 'lactose' intollerant if unable to digest dairy.

In this case - oils on her skin will bear no relevance and not cause a problem. However, in the case of citrus oils, just avoid citrus based oils.

Thanks for your help all i done which was very useful is i gave my client all the products i will be using and told her to test them behind her ear or on her arm and seen if she had a reaction... which was positive and she was fine which is all good :) thank anyway x
