Hi everyone,

I've just noticed moments ago that on my upper left cheek a small, but noticeable hollow scar has appeared. It’s difficult to describe, but it’s like my cheek runs smoothly then there is a part on the surface when my skin dips down to form a shallow, but quite broad hollow pool or void.

I don’t no how this could of happened, and I’m totally certain that I haven’t cut myself at all, there is no wound or scab, its completely clean. It seems to just of appeared out of no where.

I have a smaller, less noticeable on my forehead, which I’ve had as long as I can remember.

Is there anyway to treat this? By the looks of things it seems permanent, but I don’t no you’re the experts...

thank you all so much,

have you noticed any lumpiness in the inside of your cheek area (mucosa)? Do you suffer with acne? - possible scarring? Could be any number of things - without actually seeing your skin it is really impossible to accurately assess. If in doubt, go and see your GP.

Big zits that you splat can leave scars like you describe.
Or in my case it was my brother letting the swing go and it flying into my forehead.... I was 4 lol and I still have that scar.
Thats just my thought.

umm, I do suffer from from acne, but I'm certian that is not the cause, as I know I didn't have a breakout near the scared area. I think the best is to see my GP,

thank you for your advice:)
