hiya. Iam looking to do a lash extension course but was wondering if all individual lash system are the same? eg flirties, glam lashes, hollywood, lash perfect etc....?thank everyone xx

any comment greatly received. xx

You have to give it a bit longer than an hour for someone to reply hun. Be patient and someone will give you their opinion

hey Dizzy,

They are semi permanent lashes where you apply a single donor lash to a natural lash. They all work in the same principle same kind of products some more expensive than others. the main thing that differs is the adhesive. they all have the same way to apply. Remember with Lashes it is not always the dearer the course the better the product.

Also once trained you can use any type/companies lashes that you like. I trained with CTA in Glasgow with Marvel Lash but now use Glam Lash.

Louisetherapy is very helpful on here she trains and supplies glam lash.

hiya, thanks for your reply,

ive been thinking that i would like 2 use glam lash as it seens to get good reviews!

i live in down the south west and theres not much training round here so thats i was wondering if i train with one company can i easily use another.

thanks again xx

I know Glam Lash are starting to train in manchester west midlands so you never know if there might be any training coming near you. Look out for Louisetherapy and find out for sure.

Good Luck

I looked at loads of courses before deciding to go with Nouveau. Have my training on 27th-can't wait.
They were extremely helpful on the phone, the aftercare is apparently second to none and they are one of the top companies and very well publicised so a lot of people have heard of them, including your potential clients.
I would look at companies that have a good reputation.
I know sometimes people go on price alone but i genuinely believe that you get what you pay for (although i know there are exceptions).
Every cheap course i have ever gone on has been exactly that-cheap! Then i've had to pay for more training so it ended up costing more in the end.
Ring round the companies yourself and see what you think.

thanks for your help. xx

Hi Dizzy,
We will be training in London in a month if you can travel that far? If not try Beauty Guild : Home they have a training directory and you should find a company in your area. Lou x

The differences are the adhesive, the training skills, the up to date methods taught, and the after care you get from your trainer, do plenty of research before jumping into the cheapest course you can find,
it is true that you get what you pay for, hth
