I get really frustrated when I do most infills (not that I show it of course). Sometimes I just find it so tricky to to file away the lifting around the cuticle if there is any. It either works or I seem to be filing away for a while(getting secretly frustrated:mad:)
I know its practice, but is there a little knack that I seem to be missing?
I do angle the file slightly and wait for the lifted area to 'pop' off like we were shown in training, but as I say sometimes it just doesnt work!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Oh yes, it does work  but are you going about it the wrong way??

Read in the tutorials section about controlling the file when rebalancing!

The most important thing is starting at zone 1 and not starting at zone 3 .. read and you will see why.

This is a great tutorial! :)

I agree with the Judge. You might not be doing it the right way. In fills should be easier especially if you did her nails before and used your product as opposed to getting a client that has come to you after using a different nail tech before. (Does that make sense?) It sounds like you need more practise.
