I need my nails looking nice for a wedding at the end of August but I am totally bamboozled by all the different types..acyrilic/silk/gel??

What is the difference? which is the strongest and last the longest? and which ones wont damage my own nails to much?

I spend a lot of time at the stables, mucking out/riding etc so what ever I have either needs to be very strong so that they last or I can go the other way and have them taken off straight after the event in which case I wouldnt want to damage my own nails for the sake of a day.

Advice anyone:rolleyes:
thanks:)

What is the difference? Mainly the method of application. When you take it down to the chemical composition they are similar products!

which is the strongest and last the longest? Whichever is applied correctly! Personally I find L+P (acrylic) the strongest, but that's what I have the strongest skills in!

and which ones wont damage my own nails to much? No product will damage your nails. The 2 main causes of nail damage are incorrect application and incorrect removal - so a tech that over-files your nails and a client that picks them off!!

That is something to discuss with your tech at consultation. I believe a geek called Jac Extreme is in your area and she is a cracking nail tech. Maybe drop her a message and ask......

Advice anyone:rolleyes:
thanks:)
