I know how silly I sound but I've gone through a lot to get approved today at my assessment for an insulin pump. I was so happy the nurse couldn't stop me crying my eyes out! Taken 8 months of stress and finally my strong argument paid off

Just wondered if anyone uses one? Any advice, tips etc using it during working

My hubby has had one for several years.

Be careful that you dont catch the cable as I believe it is really sore when the tube gets pulled out!

Change it regularly and use antiseptic wipes at the jag sites.

I don't have any experience with this but have had similar long waits and making a case for my sister with various things so I just wanted to say well done! It takes so much emotionally and physically to keep pushing on for something you feel will improve your life. :D

I've no advice, but wanted to say well done, perseverance pays off in the end and if it takes a weight of your mind its well worth it. Xoxo

I have no advice either but glad you got what you wanted xxx

My son has one fitted and has been using it for approx 18 months. It is hard work initially but well worth it in the long run.
If you have any questions I am happy to help :)
