Hi,

We are looking into Collagen Induction Therapy also called skin needling and derma roller, but all the normal beauty insurance companies do not cover for this.

Does anyone use a company to cover for this treatment and how much does it cost?

Thank you x

Skin needling is an improper term for rollering as it implies that the procedure is part of acupuncture (subcutaneous injection) and this is why a lot of insurance companies will not insure it.

I am insured under the skin therapy umbrella (percutaneous injection) as part of a comprehensive insurance bundle offered by my professional association here in Australia.

I had a chat with the Environ girls the other day about this. If you contact them they will be able to tell you about an insurance company which is covering it.

I'm doing my medical needling course with them in a couple of weeks, i've found insurance with Ceart, very reasonable! x

Yes Ceart are excellent and can organise your insurance very quickly for you.

babtac do cover derma roller (collagen induction therapy) too i think.
