Dear geeks I'm busy trying to renew my usual buildings and contents insurance and have been quoted extortionate prices. Compared to last year apparently because I have business visitors to my home address. My treatment room is separate to my house and I have separate public liability insurance for that cost approx £70 for a year so why am I having difficulty? Do I need to claim business use if I have separate insurance? My treatments are also insured separately through my professional indemnity. Heeeellllp.

Try the Halifax my darling , they insure both me in beauty and my husband in engineering consultancy to work from home and with very little extra on top of the usual policy cost :green:
