I married a vetinary surgeon, at the time I worked for the Crown Prosecution Service as a Prosecutor. I had a really bad pregnancy and had a 1lb 11oz baby at 24 weeks so decided not to go back into law. I enrolled on an HND at a local college. I was a Director first and then did beauty therapy. Talk about a complicated life!

Wow! I had my baby at 25 weeks, so I know exactly you've gone through. That exactly what made me give up my accountancy job for NHS and started working from home doing beauty. I've open the first salon 4 years ago. 2 years later Ive opened the second one. A year ago Ivd launched my own eyebrow products line and a training school and this year, as we moved the first salon to bigger premises, Ive open a tanning and nail salon in my old salon as the lease was still in place.
I only work school hours and my life is definitely NOT boring.

😄July x

Just started in beauty with natural nails and am progressing to add waxing once I qualify.

Run the beauty side from my boutique photography studio and am thinking about changing it up and employing someone to make it full time (as I generally work school hours and around husband's shifts).

Been a pro photographer for seven years and still do web design (which was my career for seven years prior to photography).

Boudoir photography and beauty go hand in hand too.

I'm inspired by what you're all doing and would absolutely love an afternoon with you guys.

Hi ,

Im in the middle of taking over a salon , I hope to have a few specialist garages to by the end of the year ( family buisness)

I do mobile beauty locally, have recently started a company producing natural cosmetics and makeup (which I love love love!) and have a share in the family engineering business where I do sales, accounts and often get called in to do the spray painting (the tan training comes in handy for that) x

I have a part time job as a receptionist but my main and favourite job is dressmaking. I studied costume at Uni and have started my own vintage reproduction company but as people don't always need made to fit vintage dressed reception work is more steady and nails is a hobby I am turning into another part time job to fill up the rest of my week.

I run a beauty business within my families hair salon but I also run a fitness company! I have been thinking for a while how I could combine both the beauty and the fitness but as yet I can't think of any thing!any ideas? X
