hia, read somewere u can dilute spraytan sol with distild water to make less dha if so to what measure say to get 8 from a 12% xx

why on earth would you dilute a solution...... they are cheap enough..... i get 3 ltr from nouvatan £xx free delivery and its the most fantastic product ive ever tried..... i get 25-30 tans from each ltr... i have a 8% 12% and 16% i also have the tan drops that each dropper is 1% so work out the math and work out the satisfied brown clients not streaky bacon ones that will never come back.....sorry to be harsh , but speculate to accumulate luck and hugs elisa xx:D

Never dilute tan as the water turns it green!!! all tan companies always recommend not to dilute with anythin. just get the lowest tan solution and booster drops!!

Unless you have your own osmosis machine at home (they cost about £2500 to buy)which converts water to commercial grade water please do not dilute solution...even with distilled water.

Its simply not good practice and may cost you more in the end when the tan turns out bad.

I am intrigued!!!! What happens to the solution when it is diluted with water from an osmosis machine? I am not thinking of doing this I am genuinely interested. Thanks, Lee-Anne

Hi Lee-Anne,

spray tan solution contains over 50% Aqua....not just tap water but Pharmaceutical high grade stuff.

Many manufacturers as we do bring in there solution mixes in concentrate form (reduces freight costs)and then volumize to the solution you use through your spray gun.

The reverse osmosis machine removes 99% of all contaminants, toxins, metals etc etc from water ...in fact I have run through our machine a Litre of water and left the cleansed water with open lid in the garden in direct sunlight all summer last year.....absolutely clear 6 months later with no signs of life whatsoever .

For every litre of tap water that you put into the machine up to 80% of it is sent to the drain leaving the rest as pure grade water which is then used to volumize the solution concentrate .

Here is a link that will give you some further information

HTH

Hubby has one of these machines at work lol ;)

just out of interest what does he use it for as there are many applications ?

By the way...how the heck are you these day's anhoo's

Hi Collin
And thankyou! You are as always a brilliant wealth of information. My husband has one of these machines and I just wondered if it was the same principle as you were talking about and it is. Not that I have buckets of concentrated DHQ lying around so not much use to me but I so do enjoy learning something new.

Hi Collin, He uses it for Lab grade water for aerospace corrosioin testing, he's an industrial chemist lol, his cost over 4 grand! and i'm fine thanks for asking  x

LOL I am sorry I just had to laugh. I really hope nobody has tried this lol. I have never heard of this one before! xxx
