Hi all,

I've a question for those of you who really know their skincare/bio.

I have noticed recently after applying my face moisturiser and/or sunscreen that my skin feels like i've just wrapped it up in cling film and it's starting to sweat and heat up under the moisturiser.

I'm a 33yo oily skin which is dehydrated and erring on the side of being sensitive too.

I'm a beauty therapist so I am careful what I put on my skin, (ie professional skincare) but even though i alternate between oil free, light weight moisturisers and rosehip oil depending on how my skin is presenting that day I still notice the heat build up 75% of the time. I also use a moisturising SPF (again professional) and notice the same.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!

Melissa

Hi I would stop using the products and find alternatives as it sounds like you have developed a hypersensitivity to them. Early stages of rosacea usually begins in the 30 year age range and I suspect you have a permanent diffuse redness to the skin. Early detection can prevent further problems.

You need to correct the dehydration - oiliness can be a sign of the skin trying to compensate. Nimue products are available in your country and I would suggest trying these as I have found them excellent.

Reasses your skin regime - skin does change and sometimes we forget to change our products when it happens.

Thanks,
I have heard great things about Nimue products so I will check the products out further.

Cheers
