Hi Ladies

im new to this forum, and if you wouldnt mind, i would like some advice on some skin care. Im currently using the Skin Ceuticals range and im looking to change to Dermalogica, i have problematic skin and after reading so many great reviews on here about them, it has confirmed that they are a trustworthy brand.

My question is:- is there any difference in the Dermalogica you can buy from your local department store or HQ Hair than in a salon?? I mean do they supply a different (better) formula to the beauty salons that is better than the Dermalogica you can buy in the Debenhams? Hope that makes sense!

Im having trouble finding a beauty salon that uses Dermalogica where i live, im sure there is one but i cant seem to find it!!

Thanks so much, any advice would be greatly appreciated. xx

Dermalogica is only sold by professionals. Anything that is found elsewhere cannot be guaranteed.

Try going on the Dermalogica website... if you punch in your zip code or town it should give the locations of the closest salons that carry Dermalogica.

if its only sold by professionals ( i assume in salons), how come i can buy it off the counter girl in Debenhams?

meant to ask - how do i find a salon that i can buy dermalogica from? iv had a look on their website but they dont have a link. thnx

Anything that is found outside of a salon isn't supposed to be there. It is my biggest pet peeve to find professional lines stream lined into department stores...grrr.

thanx. tried the link but my city doesnt come up for some reason  bummer, i will have to have a look around, didnt realise it was gonna be this hard to find a salon that stocks it!

Hi

My name is Candice and I work for Dermalogica UK Ltd. Your posting was sent to us and I hope I can answer some of your questions.

We have a strict policy of supplying the Dermalogica brand to companies that employ Skincare Professionals with a recognised qualification. This is to ensure that every Dermalogica user can get expert skin advice and be recommended the correct products for their skin condition. This means that you may find Dermalogica in your high street skin centre, spa, or in select stores and environments operating a professional skin treatment centre.

Unfortunately there are some unauthorised dealers that acquire dermalogica products through illegal and/or questionable dealings with other account holders or unknown sources - this is known as diversion. Not only is the sale of these products not lawful, but could be potentially dangerous if they are expired, altered or incorrectly recommended. For this reason we advise you to seek out an authorised distributor.

If you access www.dermalogica.co.uk site and select the "Find a Specialist" Tab, you can enter your postcode and the site will bring up a list of reputable stockists in your area.

We would advise that you request FaceMapping from your Dermalogica Skin Therapist. FaceMapping is Dermalogica's registered skin analysis. This will ensure that a skin therapist actually takes a thorough look at your skin, and its current condition, before recommending products.

If you would like to contact us directly for any further advice about your skin we would be more than happy to help. You can email us on [email protected].

We wish you all the best in achieving healthy skin.
