Is training needed?

Hey a friend of mine works in salon and just started to do parrafin wax and hot oil treatment on hands, she has a book on it but i dont think she has had training to do it, do you have to train in this field or not.(i may be wrong).

When one is fully competent, it is not always necessary to TRAIN for every single new treatment. Some things you can pick up really well just through instructions.

I never did training with PopIts, Minx or Shellac before I used all 3 very successfully. Some things you know all the techniques for but just not the methodology. You can learn the method through instructions in many instances.
