After alot a searching i found that nsi scotland did the best deals but it wont let me register as i live in the uk? can i order of the phone? is there any way round it?

also any one eles know of any good places for cheap or second hand nsi lamps?

thanks all

Good grief have you not heard of CND Shellac soak off UV3 colour coat system??? Amazing and you wont need to buy another lamp!!!

Not just that, but your Brisa lamp will work fine for the NSI products.

There are plans for another 12 in the Autumn. But you can layer the colours to get more.

I wouldn't recommend it at all ... the CND UV Lamp has a much higher output of UV than other lamps ... It could over cure nsi gels. It is just plain silly for someone to recommend using a lamp that is not made for the specific system you are using. It shows a lack of knowledge about the whole manufacturing process and how gels work. Be specific and use the UV Lamp for your system.

There are allot of other benefits to using Shellac too other than using the same lamp.

First of all everyone is asking for Shellac by name (I don't see any other line that is being asked for by clients specifically) . CND will add you to their world wide list of salons using Shellac. The promotional free things for your salon plus the most innovative product that does what it promises. USING SHELLAC WILL DRIVE CLIENTS (new clients) to your door.

Have you seen the photos posted here of Shellac after 14 days and more?? Here are mine after 18 days!!

As for colours we Shellacers are doing fantastic business with the colours we have for now and are getting clients excited about the new 12 colours due later this year and there will be lots more next year. Clients love to anticipate new things. It is not always the best idea to give them everything at once. I have not had one client who has not found a colour they love in the first initial 12. It has not been the slightest detriment to using Shellac.

Well you can do that using just the Shellac Base and Top Coats!! :D

YouTube - Rock Star Toes using CND Shellac

You can learn allot about Shellac and see loads of pics by joining the Shellac Lovers GROUP (click on groups above) ... without doubt the most active group here on the site. I can also send you the Shellac salon promo video if you pm me your email address. This is a GREAT video to play in the salon.

To be honest, I have never seen a product launched in 20 years that has had the impact of Shellac, or where more has been done for the business owner by the parent company to promote it successfully to their clients. If anything is gong to drive new clients into your business it will be Shellac or Minx!!! Both these products have caused more excitement in the industry than anything else in years.

I beg to differ with you on this one, NSI reps told me that the Brisa lamp I have is fine for my NSI and I have done MUCH research on UV light intensity and the photoinitiator content of the different gels and what it takes to cure or over cure or under cure them. Since I no longer use CND products AT ALL, I did not want to waste time or money ordering all new lamps, so in the course of doing my research I spoke to not only reps but the R&D chemists as well to learn more about what I should do with the lamps that I had. I am a firm believer in thorough research.

If nsi is OK with their users using the CND lamp then that is fine (I only said it COULD over cure the nsi gel which is a possibility) ... we always say ask the manufacturer .. but I can tell you that it does not go the other way ... the nsi lamp will NOT cure CND. So there is no point in anyone misleading or recommending that this poster buy the nsi lamp if she intends to use the fabulous Shellac.
