I'd like to try the long lasting lashes to use on my daughter and me. Where can I buy the kit without having training? How many sets do you get from a pack and what's the best brand to go for? xxx

What lashes are you on about Kim? The semi-permanent ones? (that are bonded to each single natural lash)

If it is them, i don't think you will be able to buy them form ANYWHERE with out training. Not unless Sally's or some where like that sell them.

I saw some called Marvel Lash in Capital the other day, and I'm sitting here with the Ellisons catalogue looking at some called Hollywood Lashes. Oh - I see they also sell the Marvel-Lashes too. Erm, is this wise to practise (even on your daughter) without any training, though?

I certainly wouldn't advise it... There is more to just sticking a synthetic lash on the natural lash!!

As professionals we are good at what we do and this is due to knowledge and then the experience over the years.

I believe its great to try new things and see if they could work in your business as an extension (excuse the pun) or on its own. However with semi permanent eyelash extensions I would not recommend trying this without proper training.

As with all treatments there is certain knack to it and whilst it maybe easy once you know how especially in this case it can be dangerous if you havent got the training to make sure you can work safely and confidently around someones eyes! Apart from the fact that you could do with 4 hands while applying the lashes there is glue and sharp objects like tweezers involved......

Most of the time the kit prices already include the training so its well worth it to use this opportunity to learn the skill from someone experienced to make sure you know how to with all the "BUTs" and "IFs" and to make sure the desired result is actually achieved and the lashes stay.
