I have a friend that owns a hair salon and has said she doesn't mind advertising my business a bit my question is which would be better to give her leaflets or price lists? If it was leaflets what would you put on them?

I'd say leaflets with a price list on the back. Then they know all the treatments you do.
Address, telephone number, email.
Times your open/work
Your accreditation
Maybe an offer if they bring the leaflet in.

yep- as above, 90% of my clients do a leaflet with promotional/salesy stuff on the front and a price list on the reverse.
