Help I'm desperate for some advice!!!
I have been having a great time with my liquid and powder nails no problems no lifting, or anything in fact I've been a victim of my own succcess clients have been leaving their appointments for five weeks with no probs so I've been quietly confident thinking "great I've cracked it!!"
But oh no
A fortnight ago I did a full set of pink and whites withing three days my client rang and told me she's got lifting I had a look and she had lifting on all fingers around zone 3 and abit on the sides so I buffed all the lifting off and infilled the areas this time using a primer and she's just rang today saying she's got lifting again and can I soak them off
I'm gutted as I've not had this for a long time and don't know what to do!!!
I do correct prep For Creative so I don't think it's that I used retention + and on the second application I used a bonder though it's not Creatives it's protein bond from Youngs which I've used before and got great results from so I don't know what's wrong :grr:
my other clients are reporting slight lifting but nothing on this scale so I've retracted my steps and can't see what I'm doing wrong
I will add that the client with the lifting doesn't really wear enhancements and usually has lovely natural nails

If it is just this one client then you need to look at her life style and what she is doing with her hands on a day to day basis,
it could be.....
beauty products
cleaning products
the job she does
does she change a lot of nappies, nail enhancements don't like nappy rash creams hth

I asked her about the creams she uses she said just hand cream so I advised her to stop using it she's a career girl and wears gloves when she's cleaning

Nails don't suit everyone. there is always going to be the odd person who just can't wear enhancements as their nails won't tolerate it for some chemical reason.

It is this type of client that I would experiment with using gel and wraps too to see what she can tolerate. One reason why every tech should be fluent with all systems of enhancement.
