.............that are like me - careless with scrubfresh and acetone.

I wear Brisa gel, I prefer sculpts, but struggle on my own hands so I wear tips. Although Brisa is impervious to Scrubfresh/acetone, the tips aren't and I was always getting fluff stuck to the underside of the tips.

Now, before I put tips on, I coat the underside of my tips with a thin layer of Brisa gel and cure them in my lamp. I wipe of the sticky layer with an alcohol wipe and I obviously avoid the area where adhesive goes.

When I cut the tips to length, this leaves an expose edge which is covered when I cap the nails.

I know it is better to be disciplined with using solvents - and I do try - but this really helps me

I often use my "Glaze'n'Go" (tack free gel topcoat) on the underside of my nails for the very same reason.

Thanks for that tip, I just love the little things you get to know off the great geeks here...xx

Yep i use Intense seal on the underside of my nails also, but i put it on at the end after i've applied my nails.

gar! i always hold the wipe between my fingers (ifykwim) but that doesnt stop me wiping the side of my thumb thats holding clients finger... i use L&P sculpts on self and i have a thumb that is almost always looking a bit shabby.

good tip 'Dele

ohhhh i will try that thanks for sharing...xx

Thanks for that tip! I too have that problem, but what I also deal with is when I have my L&P, I tend to use my nails too much and my sqaured nails always end up round by the end of the day. I will have to start using gels on my two fingers I use the most. Great tip!!!
