Logo as Facebook profile photo

I've been trying for the last six months to set up my salon facebook. I've not published it yet because I want my logo as my profile pic, but it's too wide and when it's small, looking at the thumbnails, it cuts off the edges and it doesn't look right.

Can anyone help me?
