I wonder if any lash geeks can help me?

I have a lady coming in for a consultation next week who wants to talk to me about her lower lashes. One one eye she has had a tumour removed near to her tear duct which has left with only a half set of lower lashes. She is after something to fill the gap. She has NO lashes in this area so I can't even apply some tiny (lash perfect is my brand) lashes to anything...

Does anyone have any ideas? Strip lashes will be too heavy and thick I thought? IMO cluster lashes look too, well, clustery....

Hope someone can furnish me with some advice so I can help this poor lady...

Hi

There are strip lashes on the market especially for lower lashes. The best advice you could give her is to use those for special occassions, but not everyday.

Hi there, I am not aware of these (where have I been hiding?) can you point me in a more specific direction?

Hi

Of the top of my head, can't think of any companies names. However if you do a search or google lower eyelash extensions I am pretty sure some should come up.

Liz Martins does a strip for bottom lashes you can buy them from salon services or salons direct I will see if I can find a link............... here you are: Liz Martins Define Strip Lashes

thanks, clearly I did that, I was asking for professional recommendations based on experience.

thanks for taking the time to search and post, but I'm not sure I want to be applying such a this directly to the eye. I'm not an ebay snob, there are some things I would use ebay for, but this is not one of them.

This is all I have found doesn't look like much else on the Market, Individual & Lower False Eyelashes

thanks Lucie, these look like the only option really.

Having seen her yesterday for a face to face consultation, I'm not sure how well these lashes would stay on as her eye is very weepy and there is no delineation from her medial canthus until half way along her eyelid margin (the bit where we used to put eyeliner) I've suggested she has a make up lesson to enhance her lids and upper lashes which may draw attention away from her lower lashes.

Thanks everyone for your help

Semi permanent make up with a good technician who specialises in corrective cosmetic work. This is what a lot of clients with hair loss do, for both top and bottom lashes. not the perfect solution but deceptive enough to disguise if not looked at too closely and also a more permanent solution for her.

Try Belinda Hayle in Surrey, she has been featured in various magazines and does a lot of constructive repair work such as nipples after masectomies.

I was reading about this yesterday and saw some photos, just adding some pigment to the lower lash line to look like eyeliner makes such an incredible difference. Thanks for the name.
