Magnifyer??

Seen someone using a magnifier to do nails............does anyone else use one of these???

i tried using a magnifying lamp but it made me feel sick when i was doing them.
i went and got myself some glasses. so much better.
i have wondered about the magnifying head lights though.

I use one for getting at those little pesky hairs that sometimes get left behind when I wax, but like Susan got glasses for doing nails, the man at spec savers actually asked me what I did for a living and when I told him he made the close work prescription slightly different, so I can see fine detail at the right distance for nails but if I bring anything closer it's a bit blurry, took me a couple of hours to get used to this but I'm so glad he did it. I think he must have a nail tech in the family:lol:

Hi Susie, thanks for sharing this with us.
When I first trained to do nails I felt I was struggling to see properly.
Had my eyes tested twice and was told by both that my sight was fine I just needed better lighting. Now after reading your post I am thinking about going back again to explain what I do (lashing) and see if that changes things.

I use a cheap pair of reading glasses. It has made a world of difference! HTH and best of luck!
