I'm a make up artist and specialise in Airbase make up. I recently gave a voucher as a raffle prize to a charity function - the prize being to have full make up done.
Now the lady who won it has contacted me to say it was actually her daughter who won it and can she book her daughter in on such date as that is her 13th birthday party. My concern is, airbase (or any airbrush make up) is going to look too severe for a 13 year old (12 as she currently is), but at the same time I feel bad saying no as she won the prize. My general rule is I don't do make up for under 16s (other than the odd bit of lip gloss for flower girls at weddings)... am I being mean if i say shes too young or should I put my ethical thoughts to one side on this occasion... are 13 year olds the new 16 year olds maybe??!!
