Hi I have been using a mismatch collection of different brands to do my make ups cause its hard to find one range that offers really good products for everything. Any recommendations on a range that has good foundations and eye shadows? What does everyone else use? Thanks. .:)

mixture of different ones is good because i find that each company is different. Having a choice means that you can decide whatever is best for you're client and you're not limited. I have Mac,Smashbox,Lancome,Revlon even Boots no7 and a mixure of the low prices one's too.
hope it helps a bit.

In my experience you will not find one brand where you will like all products

I use Iman, Screenface, Supercover, Rimmel, Max Factor and many more

I love Barbara Bort make up, amazing quality, reasonable price to buy in and you can retail too. I especially love the Shiny Lips (great for bridal make up) and I just love Affinity Gel as it's like Benefit's High Beam (but much cheaper) and is goregous. No minimum order means you can keep using other bits of ranges in too or just order when you need to.

I have just taken on Bodyography & Oxyplex mineral make-up, which is distributed by Gerrard International, and am over the moon with it - I was selling it before I even had a chance to unpack it! Personally, I prefer not to use a mix of makes as I like to use a system wherein the products are formulated to work together, similarly I wouldn't personally be happy using make-up you can buy off the shelf in your local Superdrug.

I use Cozmetic Lab which is mineral makeup. It's really, really good, no minimum order (after the startup kit) and I love it for brides, proms, makeovers, makeup lessons.

I use the Patricia Milton Cosmetics makeup range. BOOTIFUL!!

Lovely products, stunning packaging, great range. No minimum order quantities and they helped me out loads on my start up package, like paying in installments.

I'm sure they'd let you buy one or two items (+ give you samples) for evaluation if you were interested.

I second this. Barbara Bort make-up is fab, and Sophie will help you out with colour and product choices. She's als great when it comes to samples and promotions.
HTH.

As already mentioned by a few peeps, I find it helpful to have a wide range of top end and professional products in one's make-up kit.

I have a selection of Estee Lauder, Lancome, Clinique, Clarins, Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Yve Saint Laurent, MAC, Laura Mercier, Screen Face and Super Cover.

I am about to introduce Dior and Smashbox. It is expensive, but I have built it up slowly. I began with Virgin Vie from my rep days as one has to start somewhere, but gradually filtered these out of my kit.

I find that Artdeco eyeshadows are the best!! - they are high pigmentation so what you see is what you get - they last all day and there clours are never ending! there always bringing out new stuff! There foundations are good too - it seems they have a different one for every skin type! Hope this helps
