hello ... have been doing some research via a previous thread and for lash extension training it sounds like flirties are really good, however have found that Marvel have a course really close to me this Friday ...

What are people's feelings abou the Marvel training .. how was the kit? Did you need to purchase much addtional equipment after the training?? Is one day training enough? Bit worried about the lack of support after the training, has that been a problem??

Gosh so many questions! .... honestly thank you so so much.

Last question, do you find you have much business? I have a tendency to get carried away with 'new schemes' and then live to regret the out lay (Virgin Vie being a classic example!!!) ....???

THANKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS ;)

If I were going to offer this as a service I wouldn't even consider marvel lash. I would go with one of the more reputable brands where the training aftercare is more comprehensive.
You get what you pay for...

Yes i agree. I was initially going to go with Flirties but in the end ii decided to train with Nouveau as at some point i'm wanting to incorporate their other services and wanted it in a single brand.

'with 'flirties and nouveau i liked the fact that after your days training you had to do 6 case studies which i think is excellent. THJis way you and your trainer are able to judge the areas that you need extra support. Also with Nouveau there is an extra day to be taken i think within 6 months to 'iron out' any issues with application and such you may be having.

All the above made me shortlist these two.
Get lots of proffesional opinions, it's surprising what you find out underneath all the hype and publicity!!

Good luck,x

DON'T DO IT!!!

Seriously. I trained with Marvel, and was totally dissapointed. It was close to my home so I just went for it - wish I'd researched now.
The products are poor and training was minimal (I know that varies from trainers, but still.)
Total waste of money!
Xx

I did my initial training with Flirties and found it to be most comprehensive as well as being informal and friendly. We have 4 satisfactory case studies to submit and we can go back if we have any problems and spend some more time with Luisa. I would totally recommend them. :D

Hey
I trained with Marvel lash to and I did come away feeling abit shakey with what I had learnt , the kit is around £70 and does not contain the best products but ok to practise with and I have added to it with better stuff now .
Marvel lash do offer ongoing support so if you still feel uncertain you can attend another day of the course with them for free and there is ongoing support , but after reading through various threads I did wish I had done the course else where tbh marvel course werent exactly cheap .
any way good luck :)

im not sure what other training sesions involve... but ive kinda trained self after shown the basics.... support ! never been offered any x

Hi there I did my training with Marvel Lash, I agree that it could be a little longer but they do give after care i did mine last monday and i have spoken to them since and they helped me out quite a bit. You can go on the course again if you wish but to be honest I think its about practice.

I got the Marvel Lash Kit and the only thing I have bought extra was some more gel eye pads and the applicators. I also purchased a practice lash head, i kno its not the real thing but it really helps build your confidence.

I think the actual product is nice the lashes are very natural, some companies do several type of curl but Marvel Lash do a natural curl in 3 different lengths in the jars and a extra length if you buy the stripe individual lash. I have had a few different brands on my eyes and after having full set marvel lash you really cant feel that you are wearing them.
