Hi All

Im seriously considering an opportunity to take up a venture that is focused on only men's treatments. I've been trying to do my research, and I was wondering which facial products you would reccomend? If I am only focusing on men's treatments then I would prefer a range that is specifically for men.

Thank you in advance xxx

It's a good idea and one I've seen work really well both here and in the States.

Here in Queensland there are two male specific salons that are doing a roaring trade. One even imported an English barber who specialises in cut throat razor shaving (UK is seen as the be-all for barbering here).

I use Sothys which has a men's range that works beautifully. For my business. But there are a myriad of products out there you can use for men. Honestly, you just have to do your research and find something that is right for you and your demographic.

Good luck with your dream.

I previously worked in a male specific grooming salon. We used Vitaman skincare range; their ingredients are based on Australian aboriginal medicines and are mostly natural ingredients.

Men like it because there is no female equivalent, they are non-perfumed and the moisturisers leave a matt finish.

For more affordable skin care products we retailed Pro King of shaves which the client's also loved and is a brand they recognised.

Good luck with your venture! It's great that men can have somewhere to go and get treatments done without feeling 'girly' If you've any questions or need any advice feel free to pm me x x

Hi. I am quite used to it, but I use Xanthe by beautylab. It is a dedicated mens range, and their meteorite scrub is fantastic. really thorough. and manly lol! hth x x

Thank you geeks! i'm really trying to work out my options, and i really want to make a success out of this venture, but I want to know as much as possible about the male grooming industry!
