Micro ring weft extensions

I was wondering, does anyone double up their wefts when doing this? I know people do it with la weave and traditional weaves but thinking it might be difficult with the micro ring wefts as might be too much weight on the rings? Or too much bulk and it might slip out?

Someone is asking for this method and has 'very thick hair' and I'm just looking for a bit of advice.

Lots of people do this, because the la weave uses micro rings anyway

But if the hair is only being held with micro rings not with thread too would it not be really heavy and pull on the beads ?
