Minimum qualifications

Hello

Can someone please help me regarding qualifications.

When I finish my course I will be qualified to level 3 NVQ Beauty Therapy.

Why do job advertisements ask for a minimum of level 3....what does this mean?

If I've read correctly, it means that they don't want level 1 & 2 (NVQ) students applying, they want someone trained to level 3 (NVQ) They say minimum as you could apply once you have just gained your qualification or some one who also has level 3 but has x amount of years experience. Xx

Also, having a level 3 qualification is one thing, but perhaps they would be even more likely to hire if you were already trained in the Skincare brands they use. Some salons aren't always keen to provide training! So level 3 is the minimum they will accept, anything g extra you have will increase your chances.
