Minx fingers with Shellac layer - removal?

I did my first set of Minx fingers a couple of weeks ago, was worried about it lasting so tried the tip suggested using a Shellac layer.

Has worked so well that its 15 days ago and she still has them all on!

What I can't find on here is what the procedure is to remove Shellac & Minx? Do you soak off the Shellac layer first and then heat up to remove the Minx?

Want to make sure I look like I know what I'm doing LOL!!!

Hi Sylvia!

I find that if you wrap up the nails in acetone wraps (as you would for Shellac removal), both the Shellac and Minx curl up and lift nicely from the nail, and the MInx adhesive goes all soft. You can then gently push the Shellac, Minx, and 'squidgy' adhesive, off the nail with your wood stick, and wipe with acetone.
